Babies can begin lessons from as young as 6 months. At this age, classes are all about gentle water familiarisation, parent-baby bonding, and building early confidence in a safe, fun setting.
Yes – for our Baby Fishes programme, parents or caregivers join their little one in the pool. We guide you through each activity, so you feel confident supporting your child’s comfort and safety.
We keep classes intentionally small. Baby sessions have 4-6 parent-child duos, and Learn-to-Swim or Stroke classes have only 2-3 children per instructor. This ensures individual attention and a calm learning pace.
A well-fitted costume or swim nappy, towel, and a smile! For babies, we recommend two swim nappies – a disposable one underneath and a reusable one on top. Goggles become useful once your child begins Learn-to-Swim.
That’s completely normal. Our instructors specialise in building trust through play, praise, and patience – never pressure. Most hesitant swimmers gain confidence within a few sessions.
Yes. Our Stroke Development classes focus on technique and endurance, preparing swimmers for the Crusaders Swimming Club or school competitions when they’re ready.
